I'd like to fill you in with how I came in contact with Mike 9 years ago. We were looking for a home as a newly married couple starting our professional and personal life's. Being in the mortgage business I knew how sometimes realtors can often not have best interest for their clients. I witnessed it and had doubts of even hiring a realtor. We decided (my wife and I) to search on our own. So we started on a Saturday and guess what? We found after looking at a handful of homes my original thought on realtors was looking to be true. The realtors really seemed to not be trying to sell the homes we were looking at in fact it was more of a sale on their services to us. House after house we looked at my wife and I were shocked at how many realtors would say things like "oh this is not the house for you- call me and I can help you". It wasn't until we came to a very unlikely home that was not anything we were interested in but we thought let's look around. Mike was there as the realtor for the open house. Most realtors we encountered were similar to walking into a certain furniture store in Michigan- on you the whole time. Mike however was not at all like that and kept his distance as we looked. We'd ask a few questions and was honest with his answers and even noted "you know you might not like the windows like this but for some people it works". He never stopped thinking of the client he was selling the house for and was always open and honest. We left the house and just as we thought the home was not for us. But we did gain something that day- I called Mike shortly after and asked if he would help us find a home and be our realtor. That day forward he's become a friend and someone we can trust to always consider for our realtor needs. We used him a second time when we purchased our new home (new construction) which is not always easy. Mike made it easy and helped us rent the home we just sold with you last week. I have used J Michael Galinac multiple times and continue to be amazed at the level of service he provides. In our last transaction, we were dealing with a market well outside either of our current areas. He familiarized himself with all of the local customs, coordinated all of the activities, and made the long drives whenever needed. We first met Mike Galinac when he helped us find our first home about 15 years ago. Even after moving several times outside the State, we kept the property. When the real state market improved in Michigan, it was a no brainer and we contacted Mike and asked him to represent us selling our property. Living outside the State, it was somewhat worrisome selling the property remotely; however, Mike made the whole experience easy enough for us. He quickly identify what improvements were needed, which contractors to use, and the process was even enjoyable. Mike is AWESOME!!!! He's one of most Honest, Trustworthy, and Down to Earth person you'll ever meet. When I sold my first house (back in 2007/2009), it was the listing from Hell, most agents would have given up and went running for the hills, after the second offer fell through and the house prices were plummeting (from 110k to 30k). Not Mike, he was with us every step of the way, it took us almost two years, but Mike's perseverance made it all happen. I can't say it enough, Mike is simply the best!!!
