I can’t remember how we were so lucky to meet Mike but it was at least 14 years ago when I was trying to get my parents to move into a ranch style home or condo. He showed them quite a few places over the years. After my father passed away, Mike helped my mother sell a piece of property she owned as well as showing her the occasional ranch or condo that caught her eye. Finally, this summer, we found the perfect place. A condo not far from her home of 55 years. Mike was very instrumental in fine tuning Mom’s offer as there were other offers coming in on the property. After her offer was accepted, he patiently walked us through each step of the closing process and let us know when it was time to have utilities put into Mom’s name and when papers needed to be filed with the townships involved. Then came the hard part, selling Mom’s home. She wasn’t ready for that. We had hoped to have it on the market shortly after she bought the condo but it took more than a month to get it ready to Mom’s standards and listed at a price she wanted. She took Mike’s recommendations to heart of what needed to be done to show the home at it’s best. Mike never pushed her to start the showings even though we knew we were losing the beauty of early fall to show the house. It was worth the wait when Mom received a full price offer on the second day of showing the home. After all these years of working with Mike he feels more like family to us. Just as people keep a financial advisor and a primary doctor on hand, it’s good to know we have Mike there for all our future real estate needs.

Mike was amazing! We weren't sure if we were going to build new or buy existing and he helped us look for houses and property simultaneously. He was always available via call or text, and he really helped us understand the process as we moved forward. One of the things I admired most about him was his attention to detail and honesty. Cannot recommend Mike enough. We had friends who bought in the last few years and had pretty marginal experiences with other realtors so we were worried getting into the market. We found Mike on Google Maps and took a chance on him. He performed beyond our imagination. This was our first time buying a home and Mike made it a breeze. Despite the crazy market, Mike never pressured us on anything and worked great with our casual house viewing strategy (we weren't in a rush and just wanted to wait to find the right place). When we found our house, Mike walked us through exactly how everything would work and treated us like family. He was always available to meet for showings and worked with our schedule. I heard about Mike through my sister and brother-in-law. They met Mike through a family member and sold a house with Mike as their Realtor. They talked about him for years. Naturally when it was time to buy they called Mike and AGAIN when they were ready to sell. I bought my starter home 10 years ago, out grew it and moved into a rental. Last year I decided to sell my home. I had talked to other realtors in the past and did not hear the number that could convince me to sell my now stressful home. I decided to call Mike. Over the phone he was able to provide me with a pretty accurate, knowledgeable and realistic price and what I needed to have that price. Our experience was also positive. He was always timely in responding to our questions. He accompanied us to our house inspections and provided great insights and options to consider. Mike Galinac is a consummate professional. He is well versed in all the ins and outs of buying and selling property from his multiple decades of working as a real estate agent. Mike has an eye for taking great photos, which helps his listings stand out, and his suggested listing prices are right on the mark. I've known Mike since he helped my daughter buy her first house four years ago. Impressed with what I saw during that process, I had Mike assess my own home, though I wasn't ready to sell just yet, and subsequently referred my sister to him when she wanted to sell her house in late 2019. Earlier this year I contacted Mike when I was preparing my own home for sale. On my request, Mike made several visits to my home to advise me on what needed to be done to ready my home for the market. He also was available via calls, texts, and emails for ongoing questions. When I couldn’t find a painter, Mike tried to find one for me. Whenever a problem exists, Mike reaches into his arsenal to try to fix it and is usually successful. In late May, I was ready to sign a listing contract. Mike explained the process I was about to embark on which included a photo shoot of my home. A few days later, I saw my listing and was incredibly pleased with the way Mike depicted my home in words and in photos. My house went on the market in early June and sold in two days for well over the asking price! Mike orchestrated a stress-free transaction from the beginning of our contract, through the closing. Next, I needed a place to live. I fell in love with the first condo I saw, and Mike and I strategized about the details of my offer. However, this was a highest and best bid situation, and in the end a lower cash offer was accepted. With the clock ticking, I restarted my search and found another condo that I really liked. Again, Mike and I strategized about the details of my offer. By the next day, the seller and I signed a purchase agreement! After the inspection of the condo revealed several issues, Mike wrote an Amendment to the Purchase order. Throughout this stressful process, Mike’s knowledge of the inner workings of a home allowed him to be an advocate for me. He always had my back, paid attention to detail, and performed a lot of behind-the-scenes work. He frequently reassured me that all the issues were solvable, and said he believed I would be able to close on the condo as planned. In addition to his knowledge and skills as a real estate agent, Mike is dependable, empathic, caring, and observant, on top of being a great listener with a great memory. At times I felt like I was talking with another social worker because Mike took the time to understand the issues that were important to me and remembered them throughout the course of our work together. Mike also has a wickedly wonderful sense of humor and we found much to laugh about. Mike was very professional, had a good sense of humor, was on top of everything, and readily available whenever we needed his opinion or assistance. We sold our house in the middle of the Covid-19 "lock down", and he handled it very smoothly. He was very knowledgeable about both, selling and buying, and that helped us understand what was reasonable for each side. Mike was able to determine that we had some money coming from our previous house sale, because of a clause we were not aware of, brought it to our attention, handled all of the detail and we got a check.
